Kasaragod, Feb 18 (Reporter) Two persons were killed and two injured, when their car fell into a pit, which was constructed on the side of the National Highway for development works, after hitting a divider at Periya, in the early hours, on Sunday. According to police, the deceased were identified as C Rajesh (35) and Reghunath (52) of Thayannor. Two others Rahul and Rajesh suffered serious injuries, following the turtle of the car while falling in the pit, were admitted to a private hospital at Mangalore. The incident took place in the wee hours ,when the four member gang returned to their homes , after attending a Theyyam festival in a temple at Periya.
