Siliguri, July 31 (Reporter) Two wagons of a goods train (oil tankers) on Wednesday derailed at Rangapani station in West Bengal, impacting traffic on a section of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), official sources said. No one was injured.
According to reports, two wagons of the train jumped off the rails around 11 am and the driver had to use an emergency brake to minimise the impact, sources said.
The derailment took place in the same area in Darjeeling district where, on June 17, a freight train collided with the Kanchanjunga Express, resulting in death of 10 people...////...
