Bhubaneswar, Dec 31 (Reporter) Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has extended his greetings to the people of Odisha and the entire country, expressing hope that the year 2025 will usher in new growth and opportunities for all. Pradhan remarked that, according to the English calendar, the sun has set on the last day of December 2024. However, he added, the setting sun always carries with it the promise of a new beginning. "Everyone is excited and happy about the new year," he said. “We should all embrace new possibilities and positive beginnings. As we step into a new year together, the new sun will not only rise over the Bay of Bengal but also in the hearts of Odisha’s 4.5 crore people, guiding us toward a bright future,” the Union Minister affirmed. Reflecting on Odisha’s future in 2036 and India’s aspirations for 2047, Pradhan emphasized that both the state and the nation are on a path of transformation. He highlighted that the double-engine government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is steadfast in its commitment to Odisha’s development.
