Srinagar, May 13 (Reporter) The Srinagar Parliamentary Constituency recorded an estimated 23.57 percent votes out of 17.4 lakh voters who exercised their franchise till 1 pm during the fourth Phase of Lok Sabha election on Monday. An official spokesman said that 23.57 percent votes were polled during the first six hours of the voting. The highest 36.62 percent votes were polled at Kangan followed by 34.89 percent at Charar-e-Sharief Ganderbal 31.97 and at Chadooral and 32.60 percent parliamentary segments till 1 pm. Once known as bastion of poll boycott and area for strike and stone pelting, Khanyar segment in the downtown Srinagar recorded 14.12 percent of votes till 1300 hours. Similarly, 28.94 percent of voting was recorded at Shopian, 32.00 percent at Khansahib, 25.99 percent at Pulwama, 28.01 percent at Rajpora, 23.45 percent at Pampore, 23.55 percent in Tral, 18.59 percent at Zadibal, 16.87 percent at Lal Chowk, 13.36 Channapora, 17.79 at Eidgah, 9.50 percent Habbakadal and 16.96 in Hazratbal.
