Agartala, Jan 21 (Reporter) Indian Railways have arranged three special trains from Tripura to Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh on three separate dates to carry the devotees to the Ram Temple after the consecration ceremony on Monday.
Responding to the request of Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, Railways Minister Ashwani Vaishnaw has allotted three special trains from Agartala to Ayodhya on January 31 and February 21 and 27. Each Ayodhya-bound train will carry 1,640 passengers, with BJP party leaders and supporters getting priority.
“Every Mandal of the state has been asked to make a date-wise list of the devotees to visit Ram Temple in the trains. At least 5000 devotees will get a chance to board the Ayodhya-bound trains on three dates to offer prayer to Lord Ram, and certainly, the central government will think of future arrangements for the people of Tripura to visit the Ram temple,” said BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee.
According to the Chief Minister’s secretariat, the entire cabinet of nine ministers of Tripura, led by Chief Minister Saha, will leave for Ayodhya on February 4, and offer puja to Lord Ram on the next day. They will return on February 6.
However, none of the ministers from Tripura or top BJP officials would join the inauguration programme on Monday.
However, a delegation of 21 devotees led by Shantikali Ashram head Chitta Maharaj left Agartala by air to attend the consecration ceremony. The state BJP has asked all temple management committees to organise special prayers and puja on Monday to mark the occasion and urged the citizens to host puja and celebrate Diwali on Monday in every house.
“A holiday has been declared in all government offices, establishments, and academic institutions across the state till 2-30 PM on Monday to witness the consecration ceremony on digital platforms and pray to Lord Ram for the well-being of all and illuminate the houses and buildings to celebrate the historic day,” Bhattacharjee added...////...
