Chennai, June 2 (Reporter) A 4,000 km long Motorcycle expedition in commemoration of Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas began from the southern tip of Dhanushkodi on Wednesday. The Indian Army is conducting a pan-India Delta-5 Motorcycle Expedition to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The Southern Team, compirising eight riders, embarked on this historic journey from Dhanushkodi. These dedicated riders will traverse across diverse terrains and challenging routes, symbolising the unity and resilience of our armed forces. The team started their journey from Dhanushkodi and the expedition was flagged off by Major General RM Srinivas, Chief of Staff, Dakshin Bharat Area, to proceed to Kargil War Memorial in Dras via Manali in Himachal, Sarchu and Nyoma in Ladakh covering almost 4,000 km by road in remembrance of relentless spirit and dedication of our soldiers.
