42.35 pc polling in 11 LS constituencies in Maha till 3 PM

Mumbai, May 13 (Reporter) An estimated 42.35 percent of over 2.28 crore voters have exercised their franchise in the 11 Lok Sabha seats till 3 pm in Maharashtra on Monday. According to Election Commission sources, the highest voter turnout of 49.91 percent was recorded in Nandurbar followed by Jalna 47.51 percent, Beed 46.49 percent, Raver 45.26 percent, Shirdi 44.87 percent, Aurangabad 43.76 percent , Jalgaon 42.15 percent, Ahmednagar 41.35 percent, Maval 36.54 percent, Shirur 36.41 percent and Pune 35.61 percent. The fourth phase Lok Sabha election will decide the fate of 298 candidates in 11 lok sabha seats . Except, reports of glitches in EVM machines at some places, voters boycotting in some places, clashes between ruling and opposition party workers at some places, complaints to distribute money, polling continued peacefully and no untoward incident have been reported so far.
