Bengaluru, April 17 (Reporter) The Parachute Regiment Training Centre marked a significant milestone on Wednesday as the third batch of Agniveers completed their rigorous 24-week recruit training.
A grand parade was organised to commemorate this achievement, with 427 Agniveers displaying exemplary discipline and commitment.
Major General Ravi Murugan, General Officer Commanding, Karnataka & Kerala Sub Area, reviewed the parade and addressed the Agniveers. He emphasized the importance of upholding the values of "Imandari, Wafadari, Bahaduri" and commended the recruits for their impeccable bearing, turnout, and drill.
Recognising the crucial role played by the parents in the journey of these Agniveers, Major General Murugan extended his congratulations to them, acknowledging their invaluable support and contribution to the nation.
The parade was led by Agniveer Ritesh Kumar Rai from Madhya Pradesh. A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of awards, with Agniveer Aurange Rohit Pandurang receiving the prestigious Gill Medal for Overall Best Recruit, in recognition of his outstanding performance throughout the training period.
With their successful completion of training, these Agniveers are now prepared to join the elite ranks of India’s Parachute Regiment, ready to serve their nation with honor, dedication, and valour...////...
