Patna, Nov 13 (Reporter) An estimated 9.53 percent electorate exercised their franchise in first two hours till 9 AM in by-elections for four assembly seats in Bihar. Sources of Office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) said here that an estimated 9.53 percent electorate exercised their franchise in first two hours till 9 AM in four assembly seats where polling was underway for by-elections. Highest polling of 11.35 percent was recorded in Ramgarh followed by 8.46 percent in Imamganj, 9.12 percent in Belaganj and 9.30 percent in Tarari assembly seats. More than 12.02 lakhs electorate are set to exercise their franchise in four assembly seats where 38 candidates including 5 women are in fray. Voters particularly women were seen enthusiastic in exercising their franchise. As per reports, voters in Dumaria block of Imamganj assembly seat had boycotted the polling so far due to non availability of road in their areas.
