9 injured in LPG Cylinder blast in Mumbai

Mumbai, June 6 (Reporter) At least 9 people sustained burn injuries after an LPG cylinder exploded in Mumbai's Chembur area on Thursday. The incident occurred at around 7.30 am According to fire bridge sourcess, the fire was confined to electric wiring, wooden furniture in the ground plus one structure due to the cylinder blast. Six fire engines and water tankers were pressed into service to douse the fire and it was brought under control at 8.30 pm. The injured are being treated in government run Govandi Shatabdi Hospital and their condition is stable.
