Patna, Nov 24 (Reporter) Referring to the recent American action against Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee President Akhilesh Prasad Singh alleged that Adani tarnished the country's credibility globally by committing irregularities and loot within the country and abroad under the patronage of the Modi government at the centre. Singh alleged here on Sunday that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has consistently described Adani as a nexus supported by the Modi government which Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies denied, however, the recent American action has established Adani's activities under the protection of the Central Government. Despite a non-bailable warrant issued in the US against Adani for fraud and bribery, the lack of action in India has exposed the corruption under the centre's patronage, Singh alleged and demanded the constitution of the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) for an impartial probe into the matter.
