Adequate assistance to be given to victims of boat accident: Maha CM

Nagpur, Dec 18 (Reporter) Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced in the Maharashtra Assembly on Wednesday that adequate assistance would be provided to the victims of boat accident in Mumbai. Making a statement in the lower house, he said that the ferry capsized while going to Elephanta island from the Gateway of India in Mumbai. "This incident is very unfortunate and tragic. Though many passengers onboard the ferry were rescued as help reached them on time approximately seven to eight people are missing. The search is on for them," he said.
