Mumbai, May 3 (Reporter) The All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) will contest on four of 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in Maharashtra, party national spokesperson and former Mumbai MLA Waris Pathan said here on Friday.
These constituencies are Aurangabad where sitting MP and AIMIM state president Syed Imtiaz Jaleel has been fielded, Siddiqui Ibrahim (Osmanabad), Anil Sundke (Pune) and Advocate Ramzan Chaudhary (Mumbai North Central).
Today afternoon, party nominee Adv Chaudhary has filed nomination for the Mumbai North Central seat, which will now witness a four-cornered contest on this seat.
Besides Chaudhary (AIMIMK), ace criminal lawyer Adv Ujjwal Nikam has been fielded by BJP, Mumbai Congress president Prof Varsha Gaikwad and Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi’s Santosh Ambulge.
All the four LS constituencies are all set for four-sided contests since the Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi candidates plus the VBA and its erstwhile ally AIMIM are pitted against each other...////...
