Hyderabad, July 15 (Reporter) Air Commodore Hrushikesh Jagannath Page assumed command as Air Officer Commanding of Air Force Station Begumpet on Monday, succeeding Group Captain Manish Kumar. Air Commodore Page was commissioned into the Flying branch of the Indian Air Force in 1995 and is a Qualified Flying Instructor. He is an alumnus of the Defence Services Staff College and the College of Defence Management. Throughout his career, he has held important command and staff appointments. He served as the Chief Operations Officer of a front-line base and commanded a Remotely Piloted Aircraft Squadron. Before his current appointment, he was the Head of the Training Team at the Weapon Systems School. For his meritorious service, he was awarded the Vayu Sena Medal by the President of India. He urged all personnel to keep the mission statement of the IAF foremost in their minds and to work towards it in alignment with the IAF's motto, "Touch the Sky with Glory," a defence statement said...////...
