Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 3 (Reporter) The mortal remains of the deceased soldier CFN Thomas Cherian, EME Corps (who died in 1968) received at Air Force Station, Shangumugham, on Thursday with full military honour. Pangode Military Station Commander, Station Commander of Air Force Station, Shangumughom, deceased soldier's next of kin, Central and State dignitaries laid wreath on the mortal remains. Suresh Gopi, Minister of State for Petroleum and Tourism, Ms Veena George, Health Minister, Govt of Kerala, Brigadier Salil MP, Station Commander Pangode Military Station, Group Captain TN Manikandan, Station Commander of AF Station, Shangumugham, District Collector Ms Anu Kumari, Capt. Sheeba, Director of Sainik Welfare Board, other military officials of Army and Air Force and the relatives of deceased soldier including his brother Thomas Thomas paid homage to the departed soul. The mortal remains of the deceased soldier is kept in the Military Hospital at Pangode and will be taken to his hometown, Elanthoor, Pathanamthitta on Friday for his last rites with full military honours...////...
