Visakhapatnam, Apr 18 (Reporter) Bharti Airtel (“Airtel”), one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, announced on Thursday that it has 7.9 million customers enjoying 5G service in Andhra Pradesh.
The company has successfully deployed 5G service across all cities and districts in Andhra Pradesh, reflecting a promising shift towards offering next-generation mobile connectivity, the telecom said in a statement here.
Airtel has registered a significant increase in 5G users in the past 6 months in Andhra Pradesh.
Commenting on the milestone, Shivan Bhargava, CEO of Bharti Airtel in Andhra Pradesh, said, "We are making significant strides in building the network infrastructure required to facilitate widespread adoption of 5G in Andhra Pradesh.
