Mumbai, Nov 13 (Reporter) Senior NCP (AP) leader and former minister Nawab Malik on Wednesday hinted that no government will be formed in Maharashtra without the support of their party leader Ajit Pawar after declaration of the assembly poll results on November 23. While talking to media persons here, he asserted that their leader Ajit Pawar being a major force in Maharashtra will emerge as a kingmaker and their party will determine how to form the government and whose. "In politics all leaders want to be chief minister but today, we are not so strong to claim that post, but we will become kingmakers," he emphasised. "We are not people who will turn a blind eye to BJP's agenda. The next government will come on our terms," he reiterated. Criticising the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) for constantly pointing fingers at the Ajit Pawar's faction for being with the BJP, Malik clarified that Ajit Pawar has repeatedly explained that they have made a 'political adjustment'. "We want a secular, democratic system. We are associated with the ideology of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj-Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj-Jyotiba Phule-Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar," he added and cited several examples of political adjustment done by different political leaders across the country.
