Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while addressing the inaugural session of the 7th Convention of the Akhil Bharatiya Vanvasi Gramin Mazdoor Mahasangh, stated that all problems faced by the labour community will be addressed through coordinated efforts in Bhopal across various departments. The government will leave no stone unturned to ensure the welfare of tribal brothers and sisters, along with all other sections of society.
Dr. Yadav mentioned that the government has facilitated the payment of Rs 224 crore in pending dues for 4,800 workers of Hukumchand Mill in Indore. Similarly, pending dues of workers from Sajjan Mill in Ratlam will also be cleared soon. To boost industrial investment and employment generation, regional industry conclaves have been organised at the divisional level. The 9th Global Investors Summit was held in Bhopal, where Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Home & Cooperation Minister Shri Amit Shah participated, further promoting industrial growth and employment in the state.
He also announced that industrialists establishing employment-generating enterprises in the state would be provided land, subsidies of up to 70%, and concessions on electricity bills.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav highlighted the slogan of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh: “We will work in the national interest, and will be paid fairly for it.” He reiterated the government's commitment to ensuring that workers serving national interests receive their due rights. A scheme is being prepared to provide ₹5,000 per month as ex-gratia to textile industry workers.
He announced that tribal workers from Alirajpur, who migrate to work in diamond factories in Surat, Gujarat, will soon be able to find employment locally as the state government plans to establish a diamond factory in Alirajpur itself.
