Vijayawada, Feb 16 (Reporter) Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday condoled the death of veteran Telugu film actress and producer Krishnaveni. In a statement here, Nazeer expressed profound grief and sadness over the demise of Krishnaveni, the recipient of the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award. The Governor offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. Naidu in a condolence message recalled that Krishnaveni produced many Telugu films and she was the owner of a film studio. He conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved families. Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also condoled her death. Krishnaveni (101) passed away in Hyderabad on Sunday. Krishnaveni introduced N T Rama Rao to the Telugu film world with the movie ‘Mana Desam’ and she acted as the heroine in the film. Later N T Rama Rao entered politics, formed the Telugu Desam party and became the Chief Minister of the State.
