Amaravati, April 22 (Reporter) Hot, humid and uncomfortable weather is likely to prevail at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speed of 30- 40 kmph is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur in one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next four days and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Dry weather is likely to prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next seven days, in Rayalaseema from 23 to 28 and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh from April 26 to 28.
Rainfall occurred at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed over Yanam during the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 42.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Tirupati, Kurnool in Rayalaseema on Sunday, the report added...////...
