Kakinada, Nov 24(Reporter) The all-party meeting held at the CITU office here on Sunday has appealed to the state government to prevent the proposed strike of 108 ambulance services employees from November 26 by conceding to their legitimate demands.
108 services employees union district honorary President Chekkala Rajkumar chaired the meeting .
CPI(M) district Convenor Mortha Rajasekhar, IFTU state Vice President J Venkateswerlu, Civic Welfare Association district President Dusarlapudi Ramanaraju, AITUC combined East Godavari district Vice President Pediredla Satyanarayana expressed their solidarity to the demands of the 108 services employees.
They demanded regularisation of the services of the 108 services employees, direct management of the 108 services eliminating contract agencies, gratuity arrears from the contractors should be paid immediately and compensation of Rs.10 lakhs be paid to the deceased employee's families.
They also demanded that weightage should be given to 108 service employees in government jobs. Employees union district President Trimurthulu, Secretary Srikanth, ASHA workers union district President Narla Esweri, VOA animators union district President Kanda Ganga Bhavani,AIDWA district President Kalavati, AIYF district President Babi, AICCTU district President Narasaraju were among those who took part in the deliberations...////...
