Vijayawada, Oct 9 (Reporter) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industries H. D Kumaraswamy, Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries Hardeep Singh Puri and Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas during his visit to New Delhi on Tuesday.
A release from the Chief Minister's office here on Wednesday said that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu discussed multiple priority issues with the Union Ministers and discussed the issues in individual meetings.
During his meeting with Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari Nitin Gadkari, the Chief Minister discussed about the overall development of National and State Highways in AP including the development of Vijayawada Eastern Bypass, support for development of State Highways through Government of India grants, Fast tracking of the Kuppam-Hosur Greenfield Project and ensuring completion within the stipulated time frame, development of the Mulapeta to Vizag greenfield coastal highway project, resolving the restrictions on the road to Bhogapuram Airport and and addressing the choke points by building elevated structures integrating Flyover and Metro and upgrading the Hyderabad-Vijayawada expressway from 4 to 8 lanes, development of greenfield express highway from Hyderabad to Amaravati and development of Outer Ring Road (ORR) for the capital region
of Amravati.
During the meeting with Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, the Chief Minister discussed about Joint committee of GoAP, DPIIT and M/o Shipping to expedite Salt land transfer for development of projects in a defined timeframe, expedition of works for development of Industrial parks by NICDIT, developing of industrial policy and sectoral policies to attract investment. Piyush Goyal assured of considering the discussed issues and supporting Andhra Pradesh in fulfilling its vision.
During the meeting with Minister for Steel HD Kumaraswamy, the Union Minister explained the efforts being made by Government of India to sustain RINL through funds infusion...////...
