Tirupati, May 27 (Reporter) Eight people were killed and two others injured in two separate road accidents in Andhra Pradesh in the early hours of Monday. In the first accident, four people were killed and two others injured when the car they were travelling in collided with a road divider on the Puthalapattu-Naidupeta National Highway at M Kongaravaripally, Chandragiri Mandal, in Tirupati district. The occupants of the car were travelling to Vellore from Nellore when the accident occurred, police said. The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway. In the second accident, four people were killed when the car they were travelling in collided with a lorry near the HP Petrol Bunk at Kodurupadu, Bapulapadu Mandal, in Krishna district.
