Tirupati, Aug 18 (Reporter) A minor broke out in a Deputy Executive engineer wing in the TTD administrative building on Saturday evening. TTD personnel who noticed smoke rising from the engineering wing alerted the fire team, who immediately extinguished the fire, police said here. According to TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Sridhar, the fire occurred at the Annexure Building of the TTD Administrative Building. A few files on the table were partially damaged in the fire, but all their digital records remain intact, and the inventory of file processing is going on, he added. The police are investigating the exact reason behind the fire mishap. According to sources, the sabotage angle will also be probed amidst speculation by the ruling TDP leaders that some key files related to the scam-torn engineering department may have been burned down to ashes in a bid to delete the evidence linked to the alleged irregularities in the TTD engineering department...////...
