Vijayawada, Oct 10 (Reporter) Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazer, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan condoled the death of Ratan Tata.
In a message here on Thursday, Governor S Abdul Nazeer expressed profound grief and sadness on the passing away of Ratan Tata, one of India's most illustrious and highly respected businessmen in a Mumbai hospital on Wednesday.
Governor Abdul Nazeer has said that Ratan Tata was well known not only for his contributions to the business world, but also for his philanthropy. The Governor offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu condoled the death of Ratan Tata. He took social media ‘X’ to say: “Few men have left such an enduring imprint on this world with their vision and integrity as Ratan Tata. Today, we have lost not just a business titan, but a true humanitarian whose legacy goes beyond the industrial landscape to live in every heart he touched. As I mourn his passing today, I also reflect on his remarkable contributions to industry, philanthropy, and nation-building that will forever inspire generations. Deepest condolences to his loved ones and the Tata Group.”
Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan condoled the death of Ratan Tata. In a statement here on Thursday, he said: “I am saddened that legendary industrialist Padma Vibhushan Sri Ratan Tata has passed away. I pray to God that his soul rests in peace. The Tata Group is one of the torch-bearing companies of the Indian industrial sector. Sri Ratan Tata has played a vital role in the progress of the country's industrial and commercial industries and has raised this industrial empire from the level of Rs.10,000 crore to the level of Rs.1 lakh crore.”
Pawan Kalyan recalled that Ratan Tata encouraged talent among the youth and supported start-up companies. “Ratan Tata is a philanthropist who has devoted most of his wealth to charitable causes. During the Covid crisis, he announced a donation of Rs 1500 crore and showed his generosity.
