Amaravati, Apr 21 (Reporter) The trough or wind discontinuity from South Interior Karnataka to south Tamil Nadu now runs from south Chhattisgarh to south Tamil Nadu across Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema at 0.9 km above mean sea level, Meteorological Centre said on Sunday. A daily weather report here said that hot, humid, and uncomfortable weather is likely to prevail at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Rayalaseema during the next five days. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds of 40- 50 KMPH are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days and in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam during the next five days, in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 48 hours, and in Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours. Dry weather is likely to prevail in Rayalaseema from April 22 to 27, in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh from April 23 to 27, and in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam on April 26 and 27. Rainfall occurred at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema and Dry weather prevailed over Yanam during the last 24 hours.
