Kakinada, Jan 25 (Reporter) AP Congress Committee (APCC) President Y S Sharmila Reddy on Thursday retorted her brother and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, blaming him solely responsible for the split in Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s family for which her mother and also the entire family are witnesses. Addressing the congress party workers meeting during her first visit to the smart city here, Sharmila said that as the daughter of Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, she stood by her brother Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in critical times and performed Padayatra against heavy odds for his success in elections. ' I was never selfish but stood by Jaganmohan Reddy, extending whatever assistance possible. In the last elections, I conducted the electioneering most successfully with the slogan'Bye, yye Babu’. But after coming to power, Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy became a totally changed man, she said. Andhra Pradesh state is now in reverse gear in development, and people would not tolerate his inefficient rule,' she added. Sharmila further alleged that, despite having a great majority, Jagan Mohan Reddy had succumbed to the pressures of the BJP and was not in a position to defy the BJP in any manner.
