Muddenahalli, Feb 6 (Reporter) Cricketing legends from India and Sri Lanka, including Aravinda de Silva, Muttiah Muralitharan, and Arjuna Ranatunga, are set to take the field once again in the second edition of 'One World One Family T20 Cricket' on Saturday. The much-anticipated match will also mark the announcement of the Sunil Gavaskar and Gundappa Viswanath Academy, with both batting greats gracing the occasion. Organised by the Sri Madhusudan Sai Global Humanitarian Mission (SMSGHM), the match will be played at the Sai Krishnan Cricket Stadium, Sathya Sai Grama, Muddenahalli. With the theme 'Cricket for a Cause', the event aims to support SMSGHM’s philanthropic initiatives in nutrition, education, and healthcare, all offered free of cost. The charity-driven initiative is expected to generate awareness and funds for major humanitarian projects, including the construction of the world’s largest free hospital, India’s first free rural medical college, and a nutrition programme that feeds over 10 million children. The highly-anticipated match will see cricketing stalwarts from both nations rekindle old rivalries and camaraderie. The action-packed day will begin with the match starting at 9:00 am. The first innings will be played from 10:40 am to 12:40 pm, followed by a lunch break. The second innings will commence at 1:00 pm and conclude by 3:00 pm, after which the valedictory function will be held from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
