Palakkad, Nov 20 (Reporter) Around 14.26 voters turned out till 1000 hrs for the Palakkad assembly by election, where triangular battle is going, on Wednesday. The voting percentage was lesser than the previous 2021; around 25.36 per cent was reported in the 2021 assembly polls from the Palakkad assembly election. Long queues were seen in almost all booths in remote areas, while turnout in urban areas was less. Pirayiri Panchayat showed a 15.41 per cent , while Palakkad Municipal area reported 14,23, Kannadi Panchayat 14.22 and Mathur Panchayat 14.38 respectively. The voter turnout was reported at 6.34 percent at 0800 hrs; it barely rose to 7.28 per cent at 0900 hrs in the first two hours...////...
