Arunachal CM calls on Governor, discusses developmental issues

Itanagar, Sep 24 (Reporter) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu called on Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik at the Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday and apprised him of various key development matters concerning the State. During the meeting, the Governor and the Chief Minister discussed ongoing projects and future initiatives aimed at driving progress and improving the quality of life for the people, official sources said. Sharing his observations of district tours, the Governor underscored the need for automation of records and district administrations to reach out to the people, inspect the progress of works on the ground, and ensure effective implementation of all yojanas/ projects. The Governor also shared about his recent interaction with Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports and Labour & Employment Mansukh Mandaviya in New Delhi. He said that the Union Minister was "extremely supportive and forthcoming to provide financial assistance for sports infrastructure, sports medicine doctors and coaches for talent scouting, and coaching our aspiring teams in the State".
