Baba Siddique murder case: Three more arrested from Pune

Mumbai, Oct 24 (Reporter) The city Crime Branch has arrested three more men from Pune in connection with NCP leader Baba Siddique murder case, bringing the total number of arrested suspects to 14 who are currently in police custody. The three arrested suspects are Rupesh Rajendra Mohol (22), Karan Rahul Salve (19) and Shivam Arvind Kohad (20). According to police, their involvement in the case has been confirmed, and they are being arrested. Accused Rupesh Salve is a resident of the Shivane area while Shivam and Karan are residents of Uttam Nagar of Pune. On October 12, 2024, between 2115 hours and 2130 hrs, Siddique was shot multiple times by three men as he exited his office in Bandra (West), Mumbai. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. A case under sections 103(1), 109, 125 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) as well as provisions of the Arms Act and the Maharashtra Police Act has been filed at Nirmal Nagar Police Station.
