Baba Siddiqui murder case: Third arrested accused remanded in PC till Oct 21

Mumbai, Oct 14 (Reporter) A court here on Monday remanded third accused in the murder case of NCP leader Baba Siddique, Praveen Lonkar, in police custody till October 21. The Mumbai Crime Branch arrested Lonkar, a key conspirator in the case, from Pune late on Sunday night. He is allegedly the brother of the man behind the now-deleted social media post establishing the jailed gangster, Lawrence Bishnoi’s involvement in the killing of the NCP leader. The court had earlier remanded two accused -- Gurmail Singh and Dharmaraj Kashyap -- into police custody till October 21. Meanwhile, the Mumbai police informed the court that as per the directive of the court, a bone ossification test of accused Kashyap was conducted, after he claimed to be a minor, and it was proved that he is not...////...
