Bandi Sanjay Kumar criticizes HYDRA operations

Hyderabad, Sep 29 (Reporter) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, strongly criticized the Telangana government for its handling of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection (HYDRA) operations. He warned that the BJP is prepared to launch a fierce fight if the government does not review its stance on the HYDRA initiative. Speaking at the BJP City Central District office in Barkatpura on Sunday, Sanjay Kumar assured the public that the BJP would stand by those affected and protect their properties. He stated, “If HYDRA bulldozers target the homes of the poor, they will have to confront BJP workers and us first. We are fully prepared to resist any unjust demolitions.” The Minister accused Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of harming the interests of the poor and failing to deliver on promises. He also criticized the government’s policies for causing distress among the people and adversely impacting the real estate sector. “HYDRA operations have become a widespread concern in towns and villages across Telangana. Instead of targeting properties held by the powerful, the government is demolishing the homes of the poor, even when all necessary permissions have been obtained,” he added. Bandi Sanjay Kumar vowed that the BJP, under the leadership of state President G Kishan Reddy, would continue to fight for the rights of the poor and oppose any unjust demolitions. He urged the government to reconsider its actions and adopt a more compassionate approach towards affected families.
