Kolkata: May 22 (Reporter) Bangladeshi MP Mohd Anwarul Azim, who went missing since May 14 after arriving in Kolkata on May 12, was allegedly murdered at a residential complex at New Town in the city, but his body was yet to be recovered, media reports lately said. Sources said the police have found blood stain in the apartment where the Awami League MP was seen entering through CCTV cameras along with 3 or 4 others but the video footage did not show the exit of the MP. Sources said the Bangladesh Police have detained three suspects, all presumed to be Bangladeshi nationals in the mysterious disappearance of the MP, who is believed to be murdered. Police found traces of blood stain but the body was yet to be found. The senior state police personnel from New Town, Bidhannagar and Baranagar police stations began investigating the disappearance of the body and sought the assistance from the forensic department and deployed the sniffer dog in the probe. Azim, a three-time MP in Bangladesh, was missing for the last eight days. He came to Kolkata for medical treatment on May 12 and had stayed at a friend's house at Baranagar with a word to return on the same day.
