Rio De Janeiro, Nov 4 (Reporter) Gabriel Barbosa scored twice as Flamengo secured a 3-1 home victory over Atletico Mineiro in the first leg of the Copa do Brasil final. Uruguayan midfielder Giorgian de Arrascaeta gave the hosts the lead with an 11th minute volley after Barbosa's close range effort was parried away by goalkeeper Everson on Sunday. Barbosa doubled the advantage just before halftime by running onto Gonzalo Plata's headed flick and slotting a cool finish into the far corner. Flamengo was in irresistible form and Barbosa struck again by angling a shot past Everson following Carlos Alcaraz's pass on the counterattack. Alan Kardec reduced the deficit 10 minutes from time with a long-range effort after a rare defensive error from the visitors. The decisive second leg will be played at Atletico's Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte next Sunday...////...
