Kolkata, May 9 (Reporter) A goods-laden truck crashed onto a Toto (three-wheeler e rickshaw) killing three occupants on Delhi Road in West Bengal's Srirampur area of Hooghly district, police and eyewitnesses said on Thursday. The accident happened at Bangihati on the busy Delhi Road leading to chaos as people gathered to protest the accident that took away three lives. Reinforcement of the law enforcement agencies was rushed in to restore peace in the area and clear the traffic. Eyewitnesses said the three-wheeler coming from Konnagar to Srirampur was hit by the goods-laden truck from the rear throwing the occupants out. Another speeding truck then ran over them. The injured were shifted to nearby Walsh Hospital where the medics declared three dead. The locals, agitated over the rash driving, attacked the truck and some others on the road causing some damage before the arrival of the police...////...
