Kolkata, Apr 14 (Reporter) BJP's West Bengal unit President Sukanta Majumdar on Sunday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Balurghat in West Bengal's northern district of South Dinajpur on April 16 to campaign for BJP candidates for April 19 poll, the fist of the seven-phase polling in the state.
" Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji is coming to Balurghat on 16th April to address the people," Majumdar said on his X Handle post.
Majumdar, a sitting MP, is contesting the 2024 Parliament election on a BJP ticket, as his name was announced in the
first list of party candidates.
Modi before coming to Balurghat on April 16,, had already held two massive BJP' poll rallies at Cooch Behar and Jalpaiguri recently.
On April 10 Union Home Minister Amit Shah also held a party rally at Balurghat.
Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, and Jalpaiguri Lok Sabha seats go to the voting on April 19, in the first phase.
April 16 is the last day for campaigning for these three seats...////...
