Bengal's BJP prez requests CM to declare holiday on Jan 22

Kolkata, Jan 20 (Reporter) BJP West Bengal unit President Sukanta Majumdar requested Chief Minister Mamata Benerjee to declare a holiday on Monday for all the government establishments and educational institutions across the state to mark the consecration ceremony of Ram Temple in Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh. In a letter to Benerjee on Friday, Majumdar also urged the Chief Minister to request the private establishments to declare a holiday on January 22 so that people can watch the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. Later in a post on X, Majumdar said " I have requested our Hon'ble CM@MamataOfficial to kindly consider declaring 22nd January, 2024 a holiday so that the youth of West Bengal get the opportunity to rejoice in the Ram Mandir consecration celebrations...////...
