Patna, May 25 (Reporter) An estimated 23.66 percent of more than 1.49 crore electorate exercised their franchise till 11 am in the 6th phase of Lok Sabha elections in eight seats in Bihar. Sources at the office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Bihar said that an estimated 23.66 per cent polling was recorded until 11 am in the 6th phase of Lok Sabha elections. Highest 23.98 percent polling was recorded in Vaishali, followed by 25.77 in Sheohar, 23.84 in West Champaran, 23.57 in Maharajganj, 23.10 in East Champaran, 22.61 in Gopalganj, 22.42 in Siwan and 20.11 percent in the Valmikinagar Lok Sabha seat. Despite the scorching sun, the voters were exercising their franchise to elect their representatives. Polling was earlier held in 24 seats during first five phases of the seven-phased Lok Sabha elections in Bihar. Counting of votes would be taken up on June 4...////...
