Patna, Feb 12 (Reporter) After making obituary references and taking up the most crucial businesses including the no-confidence motion against Speaker Awadh Bihari Choudhary and the trust vote of the house in favour of the government, the opening day of the budget session of Bihar Assembly was adjourned for the day on Monday. After the no confidence motion by which the speaker Awadh Bihari Choudhary was removed from the chair and the trust vote of the house won by the Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Speaker Maheshwar Hajari took up the enlisted businesses for the day during which the Economic Survey for the financial year 2023-24 was tabled along with 6 other bills. Hajari also constituted the presiding officers and the business advisory committee for the ongoing budget session of the lower house.
