Jehanabad, Aug 12 (Reporter) At least seven people were killed and several others were injured in a stampede at Baba Siddhnath temple in Makhdumpur of the Jehanabad district of Bihar, in the early hours of Monday. Jehanabad District Magistrate Alankrita Pandey told UNI, 'seven people were killed and several others were injured during the stampede at Baba Siddhnath temple.' 'Those injured were admitted to a local hospital, while bodies were sent for a postmortem,' DM added. A police official said that attempts were being made to identify the deceased. Security arrangements had been beefed up at temple premises, he informed.
