Patna, Feb 13 (Reporter) Cautioning his party leaders from switching sides, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar alerted them and asked them to remain intact and work for development of the state.
While replying to the debate on the motion of thanks to the Governor's address, Kumar pointing towards the BJP members reiterated on the floor of the house on Tuesday that he would always remain with them. He also asked his fellow members to remain intact and always be alert against any attempt of poaching and breaking them away.
Nitish further said that 'any one who switches over will have to face the election again putting their political fate in balance.' Referring to the three MLAs of RJD who switched over towards the ruling side, the CM said their future was safe as they are capable of getting elected again.
He reiterated to get investigated the RJD's attempts of poaching to woo NDA MLAs by offering huge amounts to them.
Speaking about the leader of the opposition Tejaswi Yadav's claim for providing huge employment and jobs in education and other departments, Kumar said they committed irregularities when the responsibility of the education department was entrusted upon them following which he had to take control of everything and all the work including the appointments were executed by him and not by the previous government.
He ridiculed Yadav for taking the credit of large scale recruitments, saying it was his vision of Saat Nischay-2 (seven resolves) which facilitated huge appointments of teachers in government schools.
Nitish said instead of participating in the debate on the motion of thanks to the Governor's address the opposition walked out. He said the opposition had got the opportunity to speak about the work done by them but it escaped.
Earlier the entire opposition protesting against the address of Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on the budget had staged a noisy workout from the house after creating pandemonium during the post lunch sitting.
Speaking in favour of the motion, the Chief Miniister said he was continuously working for the development of the state and has established rule of law in Bihar maintaining communal harmony across the state since he came to power in 2005.
During the 15 years of RJD regime from 1990 to 2005, law and order had totally collapsed in Bihar, he alleged.
Kumar outlined the achievements of his government saying that the government worked for the development of education, health , agriculture and other infrastructure. He said the special focus was on the overall welfare of the women section and police force.
Scoffing Tejaswi Yadav for taking credit for the caste survey, Nitish ruled out any role of RJD in the survey saying that it was he who worked on it.
He said the former President Giani Zail Singh had apprised him about the requirement and importance of caste survey.
The Chief Minister further said that they were pleased with the Bharat Ratna conferred upon the Great socialist leader Karpoori Thakur whereas the opposition was objecting to it.
Kumar said in the next assembly election the NDA will win more than 200 seats and in the Lok Sabha elections it will win all 40 seats under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi...////...
