Patna, May 2 (Reporter) Leader of opposition in Bihar, Tejaswi Yadav alleged that devoid of issues even after ten years of his rule, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi was now speaking on mangalsutra.
On social media platform X, Tejaswi said on Thursday that Modi has failed to execute his promises made during the past 10 years. Playing clips of Modi's speeches during his campaign, Yadav said that the Prime Minister was not talking about the promises made by him earlier instead he was raking up the mangalsutra issue.
Yadav said instead of giving details of the work done by him during the 10 years of his rule and highlighting any constructive scheme for the future, Modi was trying to divert the attention of the people from the real issues by scaring them. Yadav cautioned people that voting in favour of such a party would actually harm them and they would not get anything.
Accusing BJP for spreading illusions especially in terms of job Yadav said that it was he who had assured so many jobs to the people of Bihar. Reiterating his claims of providing five lakh employment, Yadav said that the process to provide an additional 3 lakh employment was initiated during his regime.
Reacting to the promise being made by BJP state president Samrat Chaudhary for providing 10 lakh employment after coming to power, Tejaswi claimed that he had already made arrangements for providing 8 lakh employment.
Yadav said when he promised to provide 10 lakh employment to the people, the then chief minister who was with BJP had mocked upon him saying that whether he ( Tejaswi) will bring the money from his father's coffer to pay the salary.
Yadav said later Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman came here to read BJP's manifesto who too had announced to arrange 19 lakh employment and jobs.
The BJP leadership was humiliating the people by making such promises, Yadav alleged and added that the people of Bihar were aware of the actions of the BJP and would give them a befitting reply in the lok sabha elections.
He alleged that the BJP deceived the people of Bihar who gave them 39 out of 40 Lok Sabha seats in 2019 elections and 31 out of 40 in 2014 elections.
The people were wise enough and have realised that the BJP would hardly execute its promises, he maintained...////...
