Patna, Apr 21 (Reporter) LJP MP from Khagaria Chaudhary Mehboob Ali Kaiser, who was upset over the denial of a party ticket, on Sunday joined the RJD. Kaiser joined RJD at a function organised at party headquarters, in the presence of senior party leaders including the leader of the opposition Tejaswi Prasad Yadav. State party President Jagdanand Singh handed the membership slip to Kaiser on the occasion. After the split in LJP following the death of Ram Vilas Paswan, Kaiser was with the faction headed by his younger brother Pashupati Kumar Paras, who was later made Minister in the Narendra Modi government. Five of six MPs were with the Paras faction while Chirag Paswan, son of Ram Vilas Paswan and MP from Jamui Lok Sabha seat was left alone. During seat sharing for the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP ignored Paras and allotted five seats to the Chirag faction of the LJP, recognising it as the real LJP. Paras fed up over the development, had resigned from the Narendra Modi cabinet but later pledged to work to ensure the victory of NDA candidates in Bihar. As per the seat sharing, BJP is contesting 17 seats, JD(U) 16 seats, LJP headed by Chirag 5 seats, RLM 1 seat and HAM 1 seat. Kaiser said that Chirag was a traitor who sold party tickets, instead of allowing a committed worker like him to contest from Khagaria. He pledged to work for INDIA bloc candidate and CPI(M) leader Sanjay Kumar Singh who is contesting from Khagaria Lok Sabha seat. Leader of the opposition Yadav while speaking on the occasion said that Chief Minister Kumar had been hijacked by four to five persons in his party. He stated that all these things would be made public in a book to be written by him. So long he remained with him in Grand Alliance, he was dedicated to him like his son, he added. " Prime Minister Narendra Modi never talks about real issues during his public speeches and completely ignored the problems being faced by villagers", Yadav said adding that the BJP only believed in making false promises, and the party never cared to fulfill what was promised. People would give a befitting reply to the saffron party in ongoing Lok Sabha elections, he stressed. Kaiser had defeated VIP candidate Mukesh Sahni in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections by a margin of 2,48,500 votes. He had also emerged victorious in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections but was denied a party ticket in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections from the Khagaria seat...////...
