Patna, Jan 15 (Reporter) Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor will end his fast unto death dharna on 14th day on Thursday and announce the next course of agitation in support of BPSC aspirants demanding cancellation of preliminary test earlier held on December 13.
Sources close to " Jan Suraaj " said here that Kishor had decided to end his fast unto death dharna tomorrow on the 14th day of the agitation.
He would also announce next phase of agitation in support of BPSC aspirants demanding for cancellation of preliminary test and conducting re-examination.
"Kishor has decided to withdraw his fast unto death dharna for respect of Jan Suraaj family ", party said, adding that Jan Suraaj was committed to continue its struggle in support of BPSC aspirants.
Kishor is on fasting even after he was arrested from Gandhi Maidan and released on bail on January 6. He was admitted to hospital on January 7 when his condition deteriorated.
A delegation of Jan Suraaj and BPSC aspirants had called on Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on January 13 for his intervention to ensure re-examination. Khan had requested the delegates to convey his message to Kishor to end his fasting, keeping health condition in his mind.
As it is, Jan Suraaj founder Kishor had started fast unto death dharna at Gandhi Maidan on January 2, in support of BPSC aspirants demanding re-examination, as preliminary test held on December 13 was marred by a series of irregularities including paper leak.
The district administration of Patna had arrested him maintaining that Gandh Maidan was not a designated place to do such activities as Patna High Court had declared Gardanibagh locality as place for dharna and agitation...////...
