Tumakuru, June 8 (Reporter) BJP MLA Suresh Gowda on Saturday alleged Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and his associates orchestrated the defeat of DK Suresh, brother of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, in Bengaluru Rural constituency during the recent Lok Sabha elections.
Addressing reporters here, Gowda claimed the so-called 'Ahinda' coalition aimed to bolster Siddaramaiah's political stronghold within the state.

Gowda went on to recall his prior warnings about the concerted efforts of ministers Satish Jarkiholi, Dr G Parameshwar, KN Rajanna, and CM Siddaramaiah to engineer Suresh's defeat.
"The results confirmed my apprehensions, as Suresh suffered a defeat by a substantial margin," he remarked.
According to Gowda, the loss of Suresh forms part of a larger scheme aimed at curbing Deputy CM Shivakumar's political ascendancy.
"Shivakumar's ambitions for the Chief Minister's post are being thwarted, and the stability of the current government is at risk. This setback marks the beginning of internal strife within the Congress," he opined.
