Karimnagar (Telangana), Feb 26 (Reporter) BJP National General Secretary and Karimnagar MP, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, on Monday expressed confidence in the party's potential to secure a decisive win in the state, targeting 17 parliamentary seats. During a visit to the Rajasthan Marwadi Mandir, Sanjay Kumar also paid respects to the idol of Ram Dev Baba on Monday. Addressing the media, he highlighted the positive response received for the Vijaya Sankalpa Yatra, emphasising the people's commitment to re-elect Narendra Modi as Prime Minister, projecting a victory in 370 MP seats nationwide. Sanjay Kumar announced the commencement of the second phase of the Prajahita Yatra in the Karimnagar Parliament Constituency within a few minutes. He mentioned that the second phase of the Prajahita Yatra will cover Husnabad, Huzurabad, Manakondur, Choppadandi, and Karimnagar constituencies, noting the overwhelming response received during the initial phase. Confident about a significant majority in the upcoming MP elections in Karimnagar, Sanjay Kumar stressed the BJP's commitment to impartial investigations, asserting that the CBI and ED are independent bodies. He referenced the notice issued to Kavitha based on evidence collected by CBI, emphasising the party's policy to address evidence transparently. Accusing Congress and BRS of forming a covert alliance against the BJP, Sanjay Kumar recalled past attempts to exploit such collaborations in elections. He hinted at upcoming candidate announcements for MP seats within 5–6 days and dismissed the idea of an alliance with BRS, metaphorically stating, "Alliance with BRS means to break the cheeks." Responding to questions about Vinod Kumar's contribution to Karimnagar constituency's development, Sanjay Kumar highlighted the Prajahita Yatra's goal of promoting Modi's re-election by showcasing state and village-wise progress along with central achievements. Criticising BRS, Sanjay Kumar predicted their limited success in the elections, urging the Congress government to allocate funds for the development of Kondagattu and Vemulawada temples. He assured that, if needed, proposals for funds from the centre would be pursued, taking personal responsibility for the temples' development beyond political considerations. In the course of the ongoing Vijay Sankalp Yatra, BJP Senior Leader Etela Rajender addressed the media in Gajwel town today, expressing disappointment with the Congress party's failure to fulfill promises made during elections. Rajender appealed to the Congress government to implement welfare schemes for all deserving individuals, emphasising the absence of such benefits for the people of Telangana under the previous administration. Rajender highlighted the widespread sentiment across the country where people, irrespective of party affiliations, are inclined to vote for Prime Minister Modi. He asserted that the public's desire to vote for Modi is rooted in the belief that, under his leadership, the country can prosper with self-respect. Rajender credited Modi for crucial decisions like the abolition of Article 370, the resolution of the Ayodhya issue after a centuries-long struggle, and the enactment of the triple talaq law. He underscored Modi's role in elevating India's global standing and commended the Prime Minister for providing medications to other nations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Criticising the Congress government, Rajender remarked that, aside from the promise of free bus services for women, only one commitment had been fulfilled among the pledges made by the party...////...
