Mahabubnagar (Telangana), Feb 9 (Reporter) BJP National Vice President and MP DK Aruna hailed the party’s victory in the Delhi elections as a reflection of the people’s trust in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development model and a rejection of former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s corruption. Addressing a media conference at the BJP office in Mahabubnagar on Sunday, she asserted that the Congress party had lost credibility nationwide and criticised the Telangana state government for its failures. Aruna accused the Congress-led state government of failing to implement its promised six guarantees, particularly in areas such as loan waivers and Rythu Bharosa scheme. She claimed that the government was misleading people about Indiramma housing, stating that the central government would not release funds unless the scheme was aligned with the PM Awas Yojana. She also criticised the Congress for focusing on local body elections instead of fulfilling its commitments, arguing that only the BJP’s rise in these elections would ensure the implementation of promises. Drawing parallels with political developments in Delhi, Aruna predicted that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy would meet the same fate as KCR and Kejriwal if he failed to keep his promises. She called upon the public to remain vigilant in the upcoming local body elections and to support the BJP for a stable and accountable government. Aruna also dismissed allegations that the BJP opposed the BC caste census, asserting that the party was only questioning the integrity of the survey, as many people's details were not accurately recorded. She claimed that the fall of the Kejriwal government in Delhi would have political implications for Telangana and warned that corrupt regimes would not survive. Responding to speculation about her potential candidacy for the Telangana BJP President’s post, Aruna stated that the decision rested with the party’s high command. She also criticised Revanth Reddy for allegedly delaying local body elections out of fear, accusing Congress of attempting to manipulate the election process. She expressed confidence that the Congress would face a strong backlash from voters in the upcoming polls...////...
