Mumbai, Aug 24 (Reporter) In order to bring justice to the victims of Badlapur school children molestation case and also to expose the duplicitous role of Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leaders in the case of women atrocities, the BJP organised protest across the state on Saturday. BJP state president Chandrasekhar Bawankule, Mumbai president. Ashish Shelar, women's wing state president Chitra Vagh, Praveen Darekar, Prasad Lad and other leaders participated in this protest. Under the leadership of Ashish Shelar, the protest march was carried by BJP leaders against the leaders of MVA at Dr B R Ambedkar statue near Madam Cama road here. During the protest, BJP carried a banner showing that during the MVA government and chief ministership of Uddhav Thackeray, the incidents of women's abuse had taken place at various places in the state. BJP leaders alleged that the MVA government had done nothing to bring justice to the cases of women's abuse that occurred during their regime. Condolences were expressed to the families of the victims of the unfortunate incident that took place in Badlapur, said Bawankule. In this painful situation, the MVA leaders are doing dirty politics by now raising the slogan of culture against perversion, said Chitra Wagh. Darekar alleged that during the Uddhav Thackeray's government, many incidents of violence against women had taken place in the state and they did not get justice. He cited instances of Disha Salian's suspicious death, a sexual assault on a woman by Sharad Pawar's NCP Youth Congress president Mehboob Shaikh in Sambhaji Nagar. "There is a long list of unfortunate incidents of women abuse in the country between 2004 and 2014 during the tenure of the UPA government.
