Patna, Jan 14 (Reporter) Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) President Akhilesh Prasad Singh on Sunday alleged that BJP has made Lord Ram as its political weapon. Singh said that mixing of religion with politics was a dangerous trend which could have far reaching consequences. Before consecration ceremony in Ayodhya, BJP had made Lord Ram as its political weapon which was not good for politics, he added. "It seems that BJP had made vicious the entire political scenario by instigating the people to taste opium of religion", the BPCC President said, adding that sacrifices made by great freedom fighters had been forgotten under regime of Narendra Modi government. Against this background, it was natural to recall the contributions of freedom fighters, he noted. " Bindeshwari Dubey was a veteran freedom fighter and labour union leader whose contribution to the nation would always be remembered", Singh said he was also president of Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) and later became Chief Minister of Bihar.
